ABOUT ME
Brief Overview
To Future Medical Schools, Review Committees, and others reading,
Hello! My name is Emily Andrews. I am a Senior at LSU and I am pursuing a Bachelor’s in Science, majoring in Biological Sciences with a Secondary Education Concentration.
Now, a little about my current work and course load. I am an Assistant at the Center of Academic Success at LSU as well as a student teacher at Liberty Magnet.

My current course load, spring 2025, is student teaching at Liberty Magnet as well as EDCI 4720: Teaching Students with Dyslexia. My previous course load, fall 2024, consisted of; Science Teaching in Secondary School III: Instructional Strategies in the Sciences, Biochemistry of Aging, Parasitology lecture and lab, and Instructional Models for Mathematics & Science. I will also begin my first part of the GeauxTeach Residency, which entails student teaching at Liberty High School.
As a part of the LSU Distinguished Communicator Program, I have created this ePortfolio to demonstrate my writing, speaking, visual, and technological communication skills for all those interested!
